We blended several roasted malts to create flavors of sourdough bread crust and toasted pecans. There are also subtle dark fruit notes of cherry and fig. We also boiled it two hours longer than our other beers to enhance the caramel character. Although it has a bold malt backbone, we balanced it out with just enough Sonnet hops to give it a clean finish.
