Bohemian-style Pilsner
ABV 4.8% | SRM 2 | IBU 35 | OG 11.0 | FG 1.8
Brewers usually speak in hushed tones about their upcoming Pilsner. So much time. Dedication to details. Love.
We’ve been waiting two months for this one. It’s part of our ongoing collaboration with the San Diego Airport and Water Works, where we collect water from air conditioner condensate at the terminals and transport to the brewery. It’s a novel way to reduce our water footprint and spread the word about water reclamation.
We also collaborated with Mainstem Malt, who also share our passion for sustainability. Their Cascadia Pale Malt is the perfect backbone for this Pils, bringing delightful bready notes.
We used one of our favorite hops for lagers: Saaz from Elk Mountain Farms in Idaho. They have a nice spiciness and lemon zest aroma.
