batch 167: Flight of the peach

Brewer's Notes

Flight Of The Peach was brewed with 400 lbs of organic California-grown  peaches. This equates to almost a full peach per pint. We never use  extracts or artificial flavors, so you can enjoy the delicate natural  flavors and aromas of the fruit. We used Vienna malt, which is kilned longer and at a higher temperatures to coax out toasty and sweet honey notes.

This is part of an ongoing collaboration with the San Diego Airport and Water Works Inc., where we used water reclaimed from air conditioner condensate at one of the terminals. The water has been purified and is ultra clean. It is an innovative way to lower our water footprint. Nearly 10% of our beers are brewed with reclaimed water!
