Kampala Special is inspired by the ancient brews and modern lagers of East Africa, where sorghum is used as a fermentable.
We worked with Nu Life Market in Western Kansas, which grows sorghum to be carbon negative to the environment. We fermented and conditioned the beer for 45 days, and carbonated naturally – all making for a wonderfully clean lager.
